Supplier visit
Was in Ningbo today at one of our suppliers who makes Automotive Workshop lamps. Quite some packaging around! (But that’s my business….)

We hardly go out for dinner these days. Why? Look at these dishes we can get at home!
Paper rose, good one, can keep long….
What do you do if you have a truckload of books to be delivered to the 4th floor of a building without an elevator??
Creative solution!
We had a great view of Shanghai when returning home from the Netherlands!
At 20h00 we still had a bright full moon over Shanghai, but with the Earth getting in it’s way, it fades out and turns red.
We spend 20 min outside in the cold (it is 2 degrees in Shanghai now) to get a good photo. Was it worth the cold?
No Sinterklaas (Dec 5) without pepernoten. This years supply in Shanghai needs some extra work. But the efforts pay off, nice and warm ‘kruidnoten’ are here today. See if they can make it till tomorrow…..
Cold outside + fries in the fridge, we had dinner at home. We just ran to the supermarket in our block to get some salad [Ruccola, Vien's favorite], such that we would also have some ‘greens’. The Airfryer got it’s first time to make fries (and codfish nuggets), while we also had ham-pancakes with cheese. Big advantage of eating at home: It’s in front of the TV, so we have our share of The Big Bang Theory as well.
We found a piece of France in Shanghai, way outside the French concession. Actually it is all the way up north in Zhabei district. What brought us there? The best “layer-cake”in Shanghai! Called ‘Napoleon’ (after the Italian version of the French ‘Mille-Feuille) it is very hard to eat (too crispy and creamy) but definately worth the effort!!
Next up in our Airfryer were dumplings: Pork, Shrimp and vegetable filled ones. Because the dough in the outside does not have any oil in it, we brushed some (olive) oil on them before frying. Result: Tasty, crispy and not oily at all! Up to see what the fries will look like. (Need to make or buy
them first)
If you wonder why there is a picture of the Airfryer in all of the photos, that’s because we also upload them to “Weibo” the Chinese Twitter. By showing that it was made with an Airfryer, we can take part in the Lucky-draw by Philips for all who share their airfrying experiences on Weibo.
We started airfrying today. The first ‘real’ test to see what the frying result of the our new Airfryer is. And…. REALLY GOOD!! The chicken
wings were very tasty and had a nice crispy layer. Without adding any oil! (Actually quite some oil dripped out of the wings during the frying!) Let’s see what is the next we can fry.
Philips latest kitchen appliance is about to be released in China and we are amongst the first ones to get one!
Let our Airfrying start! (It actually is quite big… see the wine bottle as a comparison)
Our evenings are filled with a new version of our favourite game: Zuma Revenge!
