Antibes and Cannes

A bit more of the same in Antibes and Cannes. The key difference is they have sand beaches instead of the stones in Nice and Monaco, so would be better for kids in summer.

Nice morning

A great way to start the day: Stroll along the azur blue sea to the castle hill for astonishing views of Nice. See the flower market from the top and the luxury yachts arriving in the port. In the far distance along the coastline lays Antibes, the destination for this afternoon.

Food in France 1 (of many)

Early dinners in France don’t really work… most kitchens only open from 7pm onwards. But we are hungry! Found this great place: La Femme du Boulanger (the bakers wife), their Tartare Poilane is super! The vegetarian mushroom toast was even better than the Norwegian salmon one!
