Awesome!
We sent car for regular maintenance this morning. Garage computer told:
Last service from now: 241 days.
Last service: 76587km; Now: 88822km
We left the office early, but still did not make it to be home in time early… We got a flat tire, when we were almost home! With no spare tyre (thanks Mr Ford) and a real puncture (two big holes), we had to call a tow truck to bring us to a Michelin tire-fitter. We needed to dig to our last bits of cash (no creditcard payment…) but we’ve got a brand new Italian made tire again. Should we go check if they have a spare tyre for an S-max available??

After a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, we now also have a Maybach in our garage:
(If you are “just” driving an S-class AMG, M5 or Porsche Panamera, it does not count here….)
Look what we found in the garage of the shopping mall where we parked… I hope it is a woman’s car.

What do you do when your newly bought VW Magotan does not have enough luggage space, but you do have a friend experienced in some welding?
This is Before

And….. After!
Large internetportals in China nowadays all start with news from the “Auto Shanghai 2011″. And what is their key headline…. Yellow trucks from Eindhoven!

(links to a page in Chinese)
I am still working on my own trip report of the Auto Shanghai. Going through 1050 fotos….. Stay tuned!
I do not know why I went down to check our car just before we went to sleep….. Must be some ‘feeling’.
When I came to the car, I found out the left front got hit by a silver car…
No notice or telephone number on the car or in the mailbox…
Welcome back home……
We just did not make it in the morning, by the time I parked the car at Philips it had driven 39.999km. So at night, on Yishan Rd, half way between Philips and Starbucks, it finally reached the 40.000km milestone. We drove 40dkm in 21 mths, so need to adjust the assumption a bit: We will reach 100dkm in 4 years, so 27 months to go…
